I am pleased to announce that Flaminia Talos, MD, PhD has joined Stony Brook Medicine as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology with a secondary faculty appointment in the Department of Pathology.
Dr. Talos completed her MD at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania, her PhD from Stony Brook University in Molecular and Cellular Biology, and her postdoctoral training at Stony Brook University (Pathology) and Columbia University (Stem Cell Biology). Her current research focuses on the specification and clonal fate analysis of prostate epithelial cells in organogenesis and cancer.
