New Faculty and Staff Enhnace Clinical, Research and Educaional Programs

Department Chair, Ramin Parsey, MD, PhD has recruited new faculty and staff to advance the department's clinical, research and educational missions.

On the left:


Clinical Psychologist Clarissa Bullitt, PhD has joined the C&L team. She also sees patients in the adult outpatient service and serves as behavioral health liaison to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Psychologist Stephanie Brown, PhD conducts studies of the biological and evolutionary bases of altruism and their applications to medicine.

Al Alam, MD is the Director of the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP). He is certified in both psychiatry and internal medicine.

On the right:


Paul Mitrani, MD, PhD, who is board certifed in pediatrics, leads one of the consultation and liaison teams and sees children and adolescents as outpatients.

Ilana Yel, DO, who is board certifed in child and adolescent and adult psychiatry, leads one of the consultation and liaison teams and sees children and adolescents as outpatients.

Brian Bronson, MD directs the consultation and liaison service and directs the Fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine.

Ramin Parsey, MD, PhD is Professor and Chair of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science, Professor of Radiology, Director of PET Research and Co-Director of the  Institute of Advanced Neurosciences.
