We utilize a holistic approach to our application review process to attract a diverse residency team pursuing an inclusive environment conducive to your education and to the optimization of patient care, innovation, and research here at Stony Brook University Hospital.
With relaxation of COVID safety guidelines and with review of our selection process, we will utilize a hybrid interview format including in-person and virtual interview options for applicants to determine the most suitable option to them. With this hybrid format, the program aims to maintain fairness and equity for all applicants with the interview format not factored into rank order list determinations. In-person post-interview visits will also be an option for those applicants that desire to further explore our program after interviews.
