Salary

Final Salary reflect a “cost of living allowance” of $2,500 plus a “location stipend” of $3,026. They also are subject to annual increases, pending United University Professions (UUP) agreements.

Benefits

All house staff at Stony Brook University Hospital are members of the United University Professions, the 35,000 member union that represents professionals within higher education in the 29 state-operated SUNY campuses. Financial Support for Education

Nephrology fellows are allowed up to $1,500 per year for funding of their academic projects including conference registration fees, course fees, and board review materials.
