Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Division Research

The Division’s faculty is committed to the advancing scientific knowledge to improve patient care. Our faculty’s research interests include the identification of molecular markers/triggers for head and neck cancer; application of patient-centered care techniques in the management of chronic otolaryngologic illness; oropharyngeal cancer screening using endoscopic confocal microscopy; development of novel approaches to skullbase disease; molecular biology of chronic sinusitis and adenoiditis; effect of adenotonsillectomy on voice and vocal production; pain control in pediatric otolaryngologic procedures; predictors of obstructive sleep apnea in the pediatric population; and immune modulators in otitis media.
