Health Sciences Academic Support (HSAS) assists with projects across Stony Brook Medicine:
- Learning Spaces: HSAS collaborates with Classroom Technology & Support Solutions and all five Stony Brook Medicine Schools to manage improvement projects and technology in the Health Sciences Center.
- Event Management: The office collaborates with Student Affairs and Conferences & Events Services to manage event reservations in the Health Science Center.
- Assessment and Accreditation: HSAS provides direct and indirect support by monitoring and coordinating accreditation procedures, facilitating logistics for site visits, fielding data requests (e.g. Middle States), and connecting the SBM to the Office of Educational Effectiveness.
- Interprofessional Education: The Center for Interprofessional Innovation reports up through HSAS to the VP of Finance and Administration.
