Application Process

All candidates must have the following to apply:

  • Be a graduate or candidate for graduation of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited professional degree program (full or candidate status), leading to a Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)

OR

  • Have a Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) certificate from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP).

 

PLUS

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Be a citizen of the United States or alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the United States (Alien Registration Card /USCIS I-551 Status - "Green Card")
  • Must be eligible for New York State licensure, with all examinations for New York State licensure successfully completed by October 1st of the residency year.

 

All candidates must participate in the National Matching Service (NMS) and the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS).

  • Letter of intent
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • 3 letters of recommendation
  • College transcript(s)
