I wanted an institution that had both strong academics and a positive working environment. I was impressed with the numerous research and fellowship opportunities available, but more importantly I knew that it was a place I would enjoy working at. On my interview day, I remember the very warm and personal welcome from Dr. Lane that I did not experience at other institutions. It showed how much she cared about the residents and the program. I also loved all the residents I met throughout the day and knew that these were people I would love to be friends with and work with. |
