Dr. Nemesure's research interests are mainly in the area of genetic epidemiology. With formal training in statistical genetics, she has been involved with the genetics of eye diseases, particularly glaucoma, for many years. More recently her research has focused on the study of environmental and genetic factors contributing to both breast and prostate cancer. Additionally, she is interested in the study of obesity.
